Fairly put: if you want to know which shops are the biggest on Etsy, or study how a famous shop grew, a shop ranking answers that, and we do not publish one. We also show no sales numbers, because Etsy does not release them per listing and we would rather show favourites we can read than sales we would have to guess. We make Trendlytic, so read the right-hand column as our own account of it.

Features
What you get
Etsy does not publish a best-seller chart, and it keeps the sales of each listing to itself. What anyone can see is a running sales count on most shop pages, reviews, favourites, and the Bestseller badge Etsy puts on some listings that have sold strongly in recent months. Sites that rank the top Etsy sellers build their tables from those signals and their own estimates, and they rank shops that have been selling for years, in every category at once. That tells you who is big on Etsy. It does not tell you what to draw on Monday. For that you need a narrower list: inside the one subject you are weighing, which designs are buyers saving right now, how old are they, and how many sellers are already there. Trendlytic builds that list for any subject you type.
Best sellers by subject, not by shop size
Type cowboy cat, nurse humour or pickleball and the Etsy results are about that subject alone, so a supply shop with a million orders never crowds the list.
Ordered by momentum, with the evidence on the card
Listings are ordered by how fast they collect favourites for their age, and every card shows the favourite count, the date listed and the price, so you can check the order yourself.
No invented sales figures
Etsy keeps per-listing sales private. Rather than estimate them, we show the favourites Etsy reports and say plainly that a favourite is interest, not an order.
The phrase checked before you draw
Best sellers often lean on a catchy phrase, and catchy phrases get registered. One click sends any phrase to the live USPTO register, on every plan. Read the record as a first screen, not legal advice.
From a best seller to a listing of your own
AI Studio takes the subject and the tags that worked and writes a new slogan, a prompt for your own artwork, then a title, a description and a keyword set for Etsy.
Photos for the finished design
Put your design on t-shirt and hoodie photos from a mockup library we produced for print-on-demand sellers, ready for the Etsy listing.
Inside the app
See it working

Open a best seller and read its whole listing
Click any Etsy design in the results and its full title, its main tag and all 13 tags open in one panel, each with a copy button. That is the vocabulary buyers used to find a design that worked: how it names the subject, which audience it calls out, which phrases it spends its tags on. Reusing tags is ordinary Etsy SEO. The drawing and the slogan belong to the shop that made them, so the panel's next step writes a prompt for a design of your own.

The new listings already pulling ahead
A best seller with thirteen thousand favourites has had years to collect them. The more useful find is a listing a few weeks old that buyers are already saving faster than most of its subject. Rising marks an Etsy listing from the last 180 days in the fastest-favourited third of its niche. Rising fast marks the fastest tenth, listed within 40 days with 10 favourites or more. Those designs show what buyers want now, not what they wanted in 2022.

What is trending on Etsy right now, measured every hour
The Etsy column of Trending Now is not a list someone typed up. Every hour we read the favourite counts of a pool of t-shirt listings, compare each with its count from about a day earlier, and rank them by the gain. NEW marks a listing that just joined the column and an arrow shows one climbing. Favourites are interest rather than orders, so read the column as the place attention is moving today.

Etsy's best sellers next to three other marketplaces
Strong sellers on Etsy prove that buyers exist for a subject. They do not prove there is room for you on Etsy. The same search reads Redbubble, TeePublic and Amazon Merch, so you can see when Etsy is crowded with versions of an idea that another marketplace barely carries, and list where your design will be one of a few rather than one of hundreds.

The keywords behind a subject's best sellers
Keyword Research collects the tags and phrases the best-selling designs of a subject actually use, 200 of them for cowboy cat, and scores each one for demand and opportunity. For the phrases with the most demand behind them it asks each marketplace how many designs already compete, and draws a trend line, so meowdy partner and vintage cowboy cat stop being guesses. The IP column turns red when a phrase leans on a name someone owns.

From their best seller to a listing of your own
Open a best seller and press Generate listing. The design that sells stays on the left with its title and 13 tags; on the right the AI writes yours for the same buyer: a new slogan, a prompt for your own artwork, an Etsy title under 140 characters, a description and keywords. Here a yellow cowboy cat tee became Saddle Up Whiskers, a different drawing in the style that sells. It costs 2 credits.

Listing photos on t-shirts and hoodies
An Etsy listing can carry up to 20 photos, and buyers make up their minds on the first few. Upload your finished design once and it appears on every photo in our mockup library, more than 800 t-shirts and hoodies on women, men, teens and kids, laid flat or on hangers. A mockup costs one credit the first time you download it and is yours after that; the ones marked Free cost nothing.
Built-in trademark check
Check any phrase against the live USPTO register before you design
Type a phrase and Trendlytic looks it up in the live USPTO register and shows who owns it, its status and its filing date. Included in every plan.
And the designs that were never yours to print are marked
When a result leans on a known brand, a character or a famous person, it arrives with a TM or copyright badge on the card. You see it while you are choosing, not after a takedown. A first filter, not legal advice.

Read its best sellers
Tell the old favourites from the new listings pulling ahead, open the strongest to read its title and 13 tags, and see how crowded each marketplace is.

Frequently asked questions
Who are the top sellers on Etsy?
Etsy does not publish a ranking. Third-party sites such as Alura build one from the sales count on each shop page plus their own estimates, and in the rankings we read in October 2026 the top was led by craft supply shops, with jewellery, party supplies and home goods behind them. For a print-on-demand seller, the more useful top sellers are the leading designs in your own subject, which is what Trendlytic shows.
How do I find best sellers on Etsy?
On Etsy itself: search the subject, look for the Bestseller badge, and open listings to compare reviews, favourites and the shop's sales count. It works, slowly, one subject at a time. Trendlytic does the reading in one search: the subject's Etsy listings ordered by how fast they collect favourites for their age, Rising badges on the new ones, and the other three marketplaces beside them.
What does the Bestseller badge on Etsy mean?
Etsy awards it to listings that have sold strongly in recent months, and it disappears when sales slow. Etsy does not show the numbers behind it, so read it as proof that a listing sells rather than as a rank you can compare across categories.
What is trending on Etsy right now?
It changes by the hour, which is why a written list goes stale. In Trendlytic, the Etsy column of Trending Now ranks a pool of t-shirt listings by the favourites they gained over about the last day and refreshes every hour, and each search marks the new listings pulling ahead with Rising and Rising fast.
Does Trendlytic show Etsy sales numbers?
No. Etsy does not release sales per listing, so any per-listing sales figure is an estimate. We show what Etsy reports, favourites, listing date and price, and order listings by how fast they gather favourites for their age. A favourite is interest, not a sale; the order tells you where attention is going.
Can I copy an Etsy best seller?
Its subject and its tags are fair to learn from: that is ordinary research and SEO. The artwork and the slogan belong to the shop that made them, and copying them gets listings removed and shops closed. Trendlytic's listing generator works on that line: it keeps the subject and the keywords, and writes a new slogan and a prompt for artwork of your own.
How much does Trendlytic cost?
Plans start at $19.99 a month, with the four-marketplace search, Trending Now and the USPTO lookup included. A 3-day trial comes first, opened with a $1 card check.
How does the 3-day free trial work?
Every plan starts with 3 days free. Starting it charges $1 to check the card is real, and that $1 is not refunded. The plan price itself is only billed when the trial ends, and cancelling before then from Manage Plan means it is never charged.
