What you get
A design sells from its photo, and the photo is the part most print-on-demand sellers borrow: the same provider template every other shop uses. Trendlytic keeps a library of blank t-shirt photos made for this job. Your design goes onto all of them at once, you pick the ones that fit the niche and the buyer, and you leave with listing pictures that do not look like the provider's default.
One upload, the whole library
Your design is drawn onto every photo at the same moment, so you compare finished pictures side by side instead of opening templates one at a time. Change the file and all of them change with it.
A photo for every buyer
About 80 shots each of women, men, teens, girls, boys and toddlers wearing the shirt, and about 80 more with nobody in them: flat lays, hangers, shirts on their own.
Mostly black and white shirts
Black and white shirts make up well over half the library. Around twenty other colours cover the rest, and one click filters to the colour you sell.
Measured by hand, moved by you
The print area of every photo was marked by hand, so the artwork sits on the chest at a believable size and angle. Drag it, scale it or turn it, and the change carries to every photo.
Files ready for a listing
Square JPG or PNG at 2000, 1440 or 1000 px. No watermark and none of our branding on the picture. Take one, or a ZIP of up to 60.
A mockup is paid for once
The first download of a photo takes one credit from your plan. From then on it is yours: another design or another size on the same photo costs nothing.
The design never leaves your browser
Every picture is drawn on your own machine. The artwork is not uploaded to us, so an unreleased design stays unreleased.
Research and mockups in one plan
The same subscription shows what is selling on Etsy, Amazon Merch, Redbubble and TeePublic, pulls the keywords behind it and looks a phrase up on the USPTO register. Find the niche, make the design, mock it up here.
Inside the app
See it working

The same design on every photo, side by side
The grid shows your artwork on each mockup as it will download: on a model in the street, on a flat lay, on a child, on black, on white. Click one and it opens large on the right, with the size, format and download controls under it.

Shots with no model, for a cleaner listing
Filter to Product and only the shirts on their own stay: flat on wood or linen, on a hanger, in window light. They suit the first photo of a listing, where the design has to read at thumbnail size.

Know the niche sells before you mock it up
A mockup only matters if someone wants the shirt. One search shows the designs already selling in a niche across four marketplaces and scores how crowded it is, so the hour you spend on photos goes to a design that has buyers.
How it works
- 1
Upload your design
A PNG with a transparent background works best. It appears on all 500+ photos straight away.
- 2
Choose the photos
Filter by who wears the shirt and by colour, pin the ones you like, and set the size and position once for all of them.
- 3
Download and list
Save each one as a 2000 px JPG or PNG, or all your pins as a ZIP, and put them in the listing.
Pricing
Simple pricing
3-day free trial on any plan, and every plan opens the whole library. A mockup takes one credit the first time you download it and is yours after that. From $9/month, cancel anytime.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Trendlytic mockup generator?
It is a library of 500+ blank t-shirt photos inside Trendlytic. You upload a design, it is placed on every photo at once, and you download the ones you want as listing pictures. There is nothing to install and no Photoshop file to open.
What is in the library?
T-shirts, for now. About 80 photos each of women, men, teens, girls, boys and toddlers, plus about 80 product shots with nobody in them: flat lays, hangers, shirts on their own. Well over half are black or white shirts and the rest come in around twenty colours. Hoodies, sweatshirts and tote bags are next.
How much does a mockup cost?
One credit from your plan the first time you download a given photo, and nothing after that: a new design or a different size on the same photo is free. Plans start at $9/month, and the credits are the same pool the research tools use. The 3-day trial comes with 15 credits.
Can I try it without paying?
Yes. Eight of the mockups are free on the public tool at trendlytic.io/tools/mockup-generator, with no account and no watermark. A few locked ones are shown there with your design on them too, so you can judge the library before you start a trial.
Can I use the mockups in my shop and my ads?
Yes. We made every photo ourselves, so there is no photographer's licence and no model release to chase, and no credit to give. Use the pictures in listings, on your own site, in ads and on social media. A marketplace's own rules about listing images still apply to you as the seller.
Are the people in the photos real?
No. The photos of blank shirts were generated with AI and then checked one by one, and the print area of each was measured by hand. No real person, and no real child, appears in them.
Will the print look exactly like the mockup?
A mockup shows where the design sits and how large it reads on the shirt. It is not a print proof. Ink on fabric can come out less bright than a screen shows, and how a printer handles white ink on a white shirt is that printer's own rule. Order a sample before a big launch.
Do I need design software?
No. The tool runs in the browser, on a computer or a phone. You need the design as an image file, ideally a PNG with a transparent background, and nothing else.
How does the 3-day free trial work?
Every plan starts with 3 days free. Starting it charges $1 to check the card is real, and that $1 is not refunded. The plan price itself is only billed when the trial ends, and cancelling before then from Manage Plan means it is never charged.
