Everything you need to know about Trendlytic — what it does, how it works, and how billing is handled.
Trendlytic is a niche research tool for print-on-demand sellers. It scans TeePublic, Amazon Merch, Redbubble, and Etsy for trending and freshly selling designs, scores how saturated a niche is, and lets you check whether a phrase is trademarked at the USPTO — so you can decide what to design next based on real market data instead of guesswork.
Four: TeePublic, Amazon Merch on Demand, Redbubble, and Etsy. Search any niche and Trendlytic returns results from all four side by side, with sales signals from each platform.
Instead of showing random search results, Trendlytic surfaces only what's actually proven to sell for a niche — the top-performing designs behind it, not noise. On Amazon we also filter to listings with 1–19 reviews, which means the design has confirmed sales but is still new enough to compete with. On Etsy we rank active listings by relevance and use each listing's favorite count as a demand signal. Trending niches across all four marketplaces are refreshed every hour.
Best Design Instant is a no-input feed of the single strongest winning designs right now, scored and ranked from the data Trendlytic surfaces across TeePublic, Amazon Merch, Redbubble, and Etsy. There's nothing to search — open it and the top picks are already there, each with a winning score and the signals behind it (proven sales, cross-marketplace demand, what's trending). It refreshes through the day and is available on the Pro and Business plans.
Yes. Keyword Research takes a niche and pulls the real tags and long-tail keywords that best-selling designs actually use across all four marketplaces. The keywords are mixed rather than ranked by popularity, so you also spot the less-crowded phrases competitors overlook — useful for titles, tags, and listing SEO. It's included on the paid plans.
Yes. Related Niches takes any niche and surfaces the adjacent winning designs around it — full design cards with images, titles, tags, and prices from across the four marketplaces — so you discover profitable angles you'd never have thought to search for. It's included on the paid plans.
Trendlytic queries the USPTO database in real time for the exact phrase you enter and reports whether there's a live trademark, what classes it covers, and links to the official USPTO record. This is meant as an early filter before you commit to a design — always verify with a trademark attorney before launching a serious campaign.
Trending niches refresh every hour. Individual searches are run live each time you submit them, so the marketplace data you see is what's on TeePublic, Amazon, Redbubble, and Etsy at the moment of the search.
Free trial with 5 searches and 5 trademark checks, no card required. Yes. Cancel from the billing page at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period — you keep access to everything you paid for, then drop to the free tier when the period ends. No hidden fees, no automatic renewal traps.
If a refund is appropriate (charged in error, didn't get what you paid for, etc.) we'll process it. Reach out to support@trendlytic.io and we'll handle it case by case.
Yes. When you downgrade, you keep your current (higher) plan's features until the end of the billing period — you don't lose anything you've already paid for — and then automatically switch to the cheaper plan at the next renewal at the new lower price.
Yes. The marketplaces we scrape (TeePublic, Amazon Merch, Redbubble, Etsy) are global, and you can use Trendlytic from anywhere. Pricing is in USD and billing is handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, which handles VAT/sales tax automatically based on your country.
Not yet. We focus on those four because they're the largest English-language POD platforms by seller count and design volume. If there's a specific marketplace you'd like added, email support@trendlytic.io and tell us — we prioritise based on demand.
No. Trendlytic is an independent research tool. We aggregate publicly available data from those marketplaces to help sellers make informed decisions. We are not partnered with, endorsed by, or affiliated with any of the marketplaces we cover.
