Print-on-Demand Calendar

The year's biggest selling events, and — the part that actually matters — how far ahead to design and upload so your listings rank before demand hits. Miss the lead time and even a great design shows up too late.

Read the "start by" badge, not just the date.A new POD listing needs weeks to index and gather the early sales that push it up in search. Upload 6–10 weeks ahead so you're ranking when buyers arrive — the week-before rush is already too late.

Know the date. Now check the niche.

A calendar tells you when— it can't tell you if a seasonal niche is already flooded or trademark-clear. Trendlytic shows what's actually selling across TeePublic, Amazon Merch, Redbubble and Etsy, with a live USPTO check, so you design for the events worth your time.

Frequently asked questions

How far ahead should I upload print-on-demand designs for a holiday?

For most seasonal events, start 6–10 weeks ahead. A new listing needs time to be indexed and to gather the early sales and clicks that push it up in search, so a design uploaded the week before Christmas has almost no chance to rank. Big windows like Halloween and Christmas deserve the full 8–10 weeks; smaller ones 4–6.

Why does lead time matter so much on POD?

Marketplace search rewards listings with history — indexing, views, and sales. That momentum takes weeks to build. Uploading early means your design is already ranking when demand peaks, instead of sitting on page 40 while buyers grab the listings that got there first.

Which holidays sell the most for print-on-demand?

Christmas and Halloween are the two biggest by far, followed by Mother's Day, Father's Day, Valentine's Day, and Back to School. Beyond the calendar, evergreen occasions — birthdays, weddings, new baby, retirement, pet love, hobbies and professions — sell all year and are worth building a base around.

How do I know a holiday niche isn't already saturated?

That's the hard part a calendar can't answer. Before you spend the design time, check what's actually selling and how crowded the niche already is. Trendlytic pulls the top-performing designs across TeePublic, Amazon Merch, Redbubble and Etsy so you can see saturation and demand before you commit — and runs a live USPTO trademark check so a seasonal phrase doesn't get your account suspended.
